TVO, a non-political, autonomous body has a mandate to provide support to NGOs in Pakistan. It serves as a catalyst for indigenous NGOs engaged in participatory development oriented programmes. TVO advocates development with equal opportunities for all segments of the society.

Established in 1986, as a national, non-profit, non-governmental organization under the Societies' Registration Act 1860, Aurat Publication and Information Service Foundation (Aurat Foundation/AF) is committed to create widespread awareness and commitment for a just, democratic and caring society in Pakistan, where women and men are recognised as equals, with the right to lead their lives with self-respect and dignity. Over the last 28 years, Aurat Foundation has come to be recognised nationally and internationally as one of the leading institutions creating, facilitating and strengthening civil society groups and networks for promoting trust and collaboration among citizens to mobilize public pressure for women’s empowerment in the country.

We promote voluntary giving and serving in Pakistan. We believe that bringing together the business sector, citizen sector and the government in this sentiment can make a powerful difference in addressing the challenges of poverty. The Banking with the Poor Network (BWTP) is Asia's microfinance network that works towards building efficient, large-scale sustainable organisations, through cooperation, training and capacity building with the aim of achievinginnovative, appropriate and demand-driven fiancial services for the poor. The Network is an association of a diverse range of microfinance stakeholders committed to improving the quality of life of the poor through promoting and facilitating their acces to sustainable financial services. The BWTP Network is an initiative of the Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) and its Secretariat is based in Brisbane.
