RCDS works to strengthen Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Security to improve the livelihoods and well-being of rural communities. Under this thematic area, RCDS supports vulnerable households through initiatives that promote sustainable agricultural practices, improved food production, and enhanced access to nutritious food.Through these interventions, RCDS has reached 31,878 households, helping them adopt better farming techniques, improve crop productivity, and enhance household food availability. The program also emphasizes awareness on nutrition, encouraging families to adopt healthy dietary practices and improve the nutritional status of women and children.By strengthening agricultural capacity and promoting food and nutrition security, RCDS contributes to building resilient communities that can better withstand economic and environmental challenges while ensuring sustainable access to food.
