WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH)

RCDS implements Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives to improve public health and living conditions in underserved communities. The organization works to increase access to safe drinking water, promote improved sanitation facilities, and raise awareness about hygienic practices to prevent waterborne diseases.Under this thematic area, RCDS has reached 33,952 households, supporting communities through the provision and rehabilitation of safe water sources, promotion of household sanitation facilities, and hygiene awareness sessions. These interventions aim to encourage healthy behaviors, particularly among women and children, and reduce the risks associated with poor sanitation and unsafe water.Through its WASH program, RCDS contributes to healthier communities by improving access to clean water, promoting sanitation practices, and strengthening community awareness on hygiene for sustainable public health outcomes
