RCDS implements Emergency and Humanitarian Response initiatives to support communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises. The organization provides timely assistance to vulnerable populations in disaster-prone areas, ensuring that affected households receive essential support to meet their immediate needs and recover from shocks.Under this thematic area, RCDS has reached 30,950 households in disaster-prone areas through the provision of humanitarian assistance such as food support, safe drinking water, hygiene kits, emergency health services, and temporary shelter assistance. These interventions aim to protect lives, reduce suffering, and support early recovery of affected communities.Through its humanitarian response efforts, RCDS works closely with communities, government departments, and development partners to ensure timely, coordinated, and effective assistance, helping vulnerable households recover and rebuild their lives after disasters.
